SupplyDevon helps organisations buy better, supporting the local economy and reducing carbon emissions. Funded by the government’s Sustainable Innovation Fund, we help suppliers in Devon recover from the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
What is SupplyDevon?
A regional procurement platform, enabling local sourcing of goods and services.
The platform enables buyers to identify suppliers within their district or county and compare aspects such as localism, quality and price, all through machine learning.
Why use SupplyDevon?
SupplyDevon is completely free to use for buyers and suppliers in Devon.
SupplyDevon strives to provide a very simple and intuitive solution to sourcing locally and supporting the local community, as well as to help Devon reach its goal of being carbon neutral by 2030.
Getting started
It couldn't be easier. As a buyer, simply use the 'Request quotes' button from anywhere on the site, provide us with some details of your request and we'll begin sourcing quotes for you. As a supplier, use the 'join as a supplier' button - as soon as we know a bit more about your business we can begin sending you quotation requests to start winning new business locally.

Croydecycle produces writing and images related to Croyde and walking or cycling in the South-West. North Devon has some of the finest cycling in the country. The Tarka Trail by Braunton is hard to beat and there is a network of quiet back roads inland. The area offers rewarding coastal walks, often with spectacular views. Discover local nature, culture and history and experience why this is such a fine place to live. Village pubs and shops are there to provide a welcome break. Forget the car, breathe quality air, feel the glow of exercise. It was you and you alone that got you from A to B. Enjoy!
Croydecycle is run by Mike Harrison from his home at Rose Cottage. He believes that in most cases it is the bike that is the best way to get around North Devon and walking is the only real way to appreciate the landscape. Croydecycle began in June 2005, since when there has been a flow of information of use to cyclists and walkers, whether local travellers or visitors.

We have always tried to be as environmentally friendly as we can, indeed we are based in a UNESCO Biosphere one of only a few in the world, great effort and expense was under taken during the refurbishment to allow us to run as environmentally friendly as we could.
Our aim is to source good local produce were ever possible, this includes our eggs, bacon, sausages, milk, pasties, water, cider, ales, chutneys amongst others. We also bake virtually all of our cakes and tray bakes on site (the exclusion becoming some vegan items), this helps support our local community and minimise our environmental impact.
We pride ourselves in providing much more than a typical railway station café, in terms of quality of product and additional free services such as train information and high speed wifi.
Our café is a multi award winning family run business, which is keen to serve our customers to the best of our ability, particularly in these currently extremely challenging times.
We hope you will visit us very soon.

Tea by the Taw was opened and is run by two local 'born and bred' ladies who had a dream!
Sandra Wiggins and Lesley James started their catering careers by studying at North Devon College (Petroc) in 1978. They met at the Barnstaple Rugby Football Club volunteering whilst their sons played rugby.
In 2014 they began a new venture with Tea by the Taw, a vintage styled tearoom. They started serving cream teas, traditional Vintage High teas, lunches and a selection of homemade cakes. All ingredients used are locally sourced as much as possible which helps maintain local sustainability and boosts the local economy.
Sandra and Lesley's tearoom won the best cafe award in the food, drink and tourism awards in 2016.
The tearoom is in Barnstaple North Devon sitting alongside the beautiful view of the river Taw.
