Devon Wildlife Trust Local Group
We are a friendly group who meet to enjoy and learn about the wonderful variety of habitats and wildlife in our local area, and we welcome everyone who attends. You don't have to be an expert or even a DWT member to participate!
Nature reserves
There are several Devon Wildlife Trust Reserves around Bovey Tracey, all of which are open to the public. We are always looking for new volunteers to help us maintain and develop these local reserves. They include Emsworthy Mire (on Dartmoor), Bovey Heathfield, Little Bradley Ponds, Chudleigh Knighton Heath and Teigngrace Meadows.

Welcome to the Devon Branch of Butterfly Conservation. If you live in the region and are a member of Butterfly Conservation you automatically become a member of the Devon Branch.
Devon has around 39 resident butterfly species and we can help point you in the right direction on where and when is best to see them. Why not join in our one of our Events (during the summer we organise field events to show you some of our resident butterfly species and in the winter we organise conservation work days to improve the habitat for butterflies in Devon).

We are a union of farmers, growers, foresters and land-based workers with a mission to improve the livelihoods of our members and create a better food and land-use system for everyone.
We work for a future where producers can work with dignity to earn a decent living and everyone can access local, healthy and affordable food, fuel and fibre – a food and land-use system based on agroecology and food sovereignty that furthers social and environmental justice.
