Working together for a Dementia Friendly Exeter
The past year has been immensely challenging for everyone, especially people affected by dementia. As we finally emerge into Spring and a relaxation of the lockdown, everybody connected with the Alliance wishes you a safe and enjoyable time.
We believe that a dementia friendly Exeter requires greater community awareness and opportunities to live well with dementia.
We understand that change comes when people commit to practical actions that help build a dementia friendly community.
With over 850,000 people living with a dementia diagnosis in the country and no cure yet, it is vital we continue to consider how as a society we can collaborate and make a difference for those living with the condition and their families.
As an Alliance we value all of our members and supporters across the city and beyond who are behind our mission and make the alliance what it has become today, we thank you all.

The Resurgence Trust is an educational charity at the forefront of a movement for change. The charity was established in 2006 to further the educational work of Resurgence magazine.
The Resurgence Trust informs the environmental debate, inspires a culture of optimism and guides us towards positive solutions to the global challenges we now face.

Our vision at the Network of Wellbeing (NOW) is of a world where everyone’s wellbeing needs are met within the planet’s natural limits.
The Network of Wellbeing is committed to a broad view of wellbeing, as outlined by our wonderful Trustee, Satish Kumar.
We believe that a person’s wellbeing depends on the wellbeing of the community in which they live and work, while the wellbeing of their community depends on the wellbeing of society as a whole, and the long-term health of the natural world on which we all depend.
In our work, we support an active network of people and organisations who care about wellbeing. There are many ways for you to connect with the network, including events such as our Building Wellbeing Together Weekend

Welcome to The Wave. We are a community of people, seeking to share the life changing message of Jesus with the people of Littleham. Within Littleham there is an amazing estate which is diverse and rich in heritage, it has not always had the best reputation, but God loves the estate and the people in it and so do we.
The Wave is a Pioneer Baptist Church plant, What does that mean?
Well, it means that (like many Churches) We believe that God has called us to share the message of Jesus, and the message of salvation, with those who don’t know Him. However, it is pioneer, because it does not look like conventional Church. Our focus is not about a Sunday morning service, instead it is about meeting with people where they are, building community, sharing about Jesus and faith in informal settings, seeking to be mission focussed living as followers of Jesus 24/7.
