We are committed to working for the good of the whole of our community in the parish of North Tawton. We work hard to help make our Town an even better place in which to live and work, and to visit.
Our new website has information about what we do and how we do it. Our residents are also served by District and County Councils. The ‘useful links’ page can direct you to the best and most appropriate source of help for the issues we are asked about most often.
In December 2019 North Tawton Town Council declared a Climate Emergency in response to growing evidence of climate change and the problems this causes. The Council agreed to look for ways to help our community reduce direct and indirect CO 2 emissions, and to find ways for our town to become more resilient to issues caused by climate change.
