Handmade in Devon
The Dirty Old Goat Soap is handmade on our smallholding in Uffculme, Devon, using raw milk from Myrtle, Nora and Prudence.
Our girls are hand milked every day the old fashioned way by Tracy, general dogsbody to the herd.
All our soaps contain olive, grapeseed and coconut oils with NO palm oil being used in the process! They are scented using only essential oils. All our recipes have been tested and authorised by a cosmetic chemist and comply with the EU Cosmetics Directive.
Additionally none of the recipes are tested on animals, just on Tracy's husband, who's looking remarkably well preserved....

Passion For Pie was founded in July 2017 when owner Jason Winser lost his job and was struggling to find employment, his wife Karen and Daughter jean bought him a gift voucher for Exeter Cookery School and he attended the Pastry Course to take some time out from the stresses and strains of finding employment.
After attending the course Jason made a Pie for a friend who said “I would have paid you for that!” that got Jason thinking about if he could sell them.
He set about organising a market stall in Newton Abbot and produced his first small batch of pies.
The Business began as a home baker and we moved into our first Commercial Premises in September 2019.
Karen left her employed position and joined Jason Full-time to deal with the extra demand.
Since then the business has grown from strength to Strength winning numerous British Pie Awards including 3 Class Champions & Highly Commended Awards and a Hat full of Gold & silver Awards.
We sell our Pies via Markets & Food Festivals, Our Online Shop, Local Deliveries and Wholesale.

Blacker Swan knitting yarns, for example, are the result of a partnership with Andrez & Ali Short, whose farm is at Swan Inlet on the Falkland Islands. We have also worked with Rosy Stegmann and Patrick Gruban to develop a new range of organic melange yarns for Rosy Green Wool. We also work closely with many breed societies to support the development of markets for their fibre.
Our willingness to collaborate with others who think the same way has enabled us to attract a number of trade orders involving new developments, specialised production and economic experimentation. We have worked, or are working with some of the biggest names in the textile industry and expect to attract more.
As the first point of contact for small producers looking to add value to their fibre, we can also offer advice for those who need to change the way their flocks are managed to produce raw fleece of a sufficiently high quality and also provide support on marketing. Set in the midst of the beautiful rolling Blackdown Hills in the heart of Devon, our home is a flint barn which we converted about 20 years ago, which was built originally as part of the Stentwood Estate by Squire Eccles in the 1800’s. It is now home to our family, numerous feral cats and herd of Alpacas kept solely for their fibre from which we make luxurious quilts.
