The Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership – covering Devon, Plymouth, Somerset and Torbay – is one of the 38 LEPs in England. We are a business-led partnership between the private sector, local authorities, universities and colleges.
Covering Devon, Plymouth, Somerset and Torbay, the Heart of the South West’s £35bn economy and 1.8m population is equivalent to that of a major UK city. Our purpose is to lead and influence economic growth, and to increase productivity and prosperity across the Heart of the South West area.
Our LEP is constituted as a CIC (Community Interest Company), and is overseen by a board made up of private and public sector members. We operate under a strict Assurance Framework
