Torbay Food Alliance started in March 2020 as a direct response to Covid-19 with 12 community organisations coming together to meet demand for food as a united front.
To date Torbay Food Alliance has provided over 220,000 meals to those in need.
New relationships have been formed and the Alliance now works in partnership with Torbay Council, Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, Fare Share South West and Richardson Hotels.
To date Torbay Food Alliance has raised over £30,000 via its Crowdfunder page!

The Ellacombe Community Partnership aims to make Ellacombe a better place to live and work in and provides a forum for the people of Ellacombe to enable the growth and improvement of the neighbourhood.
Here at Ellacombe Community Partnership we offer an array of Services to the local community. These include providing home cooked food at reasonable prices with a safe community space, a food bank referral service, guidance with housing/benefit/finance problems, and even helping with signposting for any other health/social/welfare problems that we cant help with ourselves.
We also provide cooking training for those who are interested in enhancing their current culinary skill set, an array of engaging and ready-to-play board games with prize bingo sessions, and even a local drop-in councillor surgery session every 2 weeks.
We offer free internet and help for those with computer/smart phone problems. We run creative writing, knitting, crochet, and even arts and crafts classes for those looking to try something new, and we have even hosted youth sessions in the past!

P.A.T.H Torbay are a local charity who assist Torbay's homeless 365 days a year. We provide essential provisions, advice, support and signposting. We rely on donations such as clothes, sleeping bags, blankets, tents, camping equipment, toiletries, dog food, cold and hot drinks and food.

We link our leaving programmes to activities and projects that benefit a wide range of people, from healthy eating cookery sessions with Primary Schools to an Over 50’s lunch club – and much more!

Rising Moments Is a free Non-profit practical community project for women on their own or with children effected by abuse crimes past present within Torbay.

The purpose of our group, until child poverty is reduced substantially or eliminated, is to help fill that hunger gap by providing meals to children during school holidays coordinating with other local projects and organisations.
We are a not-for-profit community-based group; we work with schools to find ways to feed the children during school holidays.
We operate when a school is closed for the holidays.
We raise funds and work with schools, communities and parents to provide meals for pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium & Pupil Premium Plus as well as others with demonstrable need.
We actively encourage community involvement and learning.
We provide meals that are non-perishable. They are prepared, and freshly cooked, by each individual family in their own home.

The Paignton Community Larder is a foodbank founded in December 2017. We serve the Paignton community with food parcels to those families and individuals suffering from poverty and crisis situations. We welcome food donations enabling us to help others: Non-perishable items are especially welcome. Most importantly tinned meat, Custard, Pot Noodles, Mug Shots, Tinned Fruit, Squash, Fruit Juice, Sugar, Shampoo and shower gel.
