We work on your behalf to influence strategic conversations with the local council, private sector, and national governing bodies. We also ensure that we build strong relationships with investors to highlight the incredible social enterprise economy in Plymouth and to create positive opportunities that will enhance the scope of what we can achieve together .
We promote social enterprise as a great way of doing business because we believe that social business is good business. We not only support our members work but we also endeavor to raise awareness of social enterprise generally in procurement and the general public.

Plymouth Social Enterprise is working through the Covid -19 crisis to try and ensure that you are getting the most up to date news and support for your business.
We are working with Social Enterprise UK to collate information on the social enterprise sector during the crisis to allow them to demonstrate need in conversation with the UK government. We are also collecting our own information so we can use our resources to create impactful offers for the membership. We are also consulting with Plymouth and Devon County Councils about need and how they can support the sector.
We have regular updates on all funding and policy changes via our social media channels, our weekly newsletter is focused on bringing all those opportunities and more to your inbox as well as highlighting the amazing resilience of the sector. If you have story you’d like us to share then please get in touch.
We are also offering fully funded 1-1 support sessions to our members.
We are here for our members in this difficult time and we will do everything in our power to enable social enterprises to come through these times and we will continue to fight for you and the vision of a fairer, kinder and more impactful economy in Plymouth.
