Open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for shopping, 9:00 am to 4:30 for soup coffee and cake.

Set up as a 'not for profit' business in 1995 by local people wanting to buy good quality organic, fairly traded, locally sourced food in Chagford, The Courtyard enjoys a reputation for being a great place to shop and eat.
We combine fresh organic vegetables with high quality whole foods from our shelves to create delicious soups, savories, home baked cakes and breads.
We serve organic fair-trade coffee, natural drinks, and dozens of teas. All our food and drinks are available as take away.
Family friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, the staff are friendly and helpful.
We provide daily newspapers and with our regularly updated notice board of events and items of local interest, The Courtyard is the perfect place to come and see what's happening in the area whilst enjoying a satisfying combination of great food and service!
